The Philippine Consulate General in Sydney has received ballot packets from COMELEC for overseas voters in New South Wales. Several ballot packets have also been returned to the Consulate by the Australian Post as the recipients are no longer found at their given addresses. (more…)

To this day, Alric Bulseco continues to flaunt his title as Vice President-External of the Philippine Community Council as most other officers and members of the PCC-NSW board were personally handpicked by him through lobbying prior to every PCC Annual General Meetings. Unless some fickle-minded officer of PCC  changes the date of the election, the much- awaited AGM will happen on the 13th of this month. It was first scheduled on March 6 but it was changed to one week later. In the previous years, as mandated by historical data, elections have always been scheduled during the month of February or earlier. The extension gives aspiring office bearers more time to lobby. Critics in the Liberal party warn about the second coming of Jaymes Diaz. Apparently there was a secret meeting of the party’s leaders where Blacktown Councillor Jess Diaz holds all the aces for the upcoming preselection in Greenway electorate. It will be remembered that his son Jaymes lost in 2013 after imploding in an interview conducted by a Channel 10 reporter. (more…)
