Ardi Rizal, the two-year-old Indonesian toddler shocked the world when a video was released in You-tube.

The boy’s smoking addiction highlighted Indonesia’s light rules on smoking and the lack of control families had on their children.

His father who spoke of his son’s cigarette addiction said that he gave him his first cigarette when he was only 16-months-old and that the boy had not

Not too many are able to celebrate 65 years of married life. That was reason enough for the 6 children of Serafin & Nilda David to host a special treat for their parents at Holiday Inn Rooty Hill.

Mang Serafin is now 87 while Aling Nilda is a bit younger at 84. They were married in 1944.

According to Mrs. Betty Cacapit who sent us this photo, Mr. & Mrs. David are both regular readers of Philippine Sentinel. They have in fact, become regular subscribers.

She’s not the ordinary type of General Practitioner (GP) for whom you wait 2 hours and get attended for only 10 minutes because many others are waiting. After listening to your complaints, Dr. Cecille Cuaresma asks several related questions to ensure that a thorough and accurate diagnosis is rendered.

If she deems it necessary, she sends her patient to the laboratory for a complete blood test or recommends further consultation with a specialist. The necessary referral letter is immediately prepared but she does not stop there. She calls the specialist herself and makes the appointment on behalf of the patient! (more…)
