Teodoro Aritao<\/strong>, popularly known as Ted or Teddy to his friends, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2011 at the age of 81. <\/p>\n<p>He was a former City Councillor in Bacolod City, Philippines and one of the founders of Negrosanon Association in Sydney. A distinguished WWII veteran, Ted was a co-founder of the Australian Philippines Service League (APSL) in Blacktown and an active community leader for many years.<\/p>\n<p>He is survived by his wife, Dianit Aritao. Atty. Aritao was laid to his final resting place at Rookwood Cemetery NSW on August 5, 2011. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Atty.
