{"id":1543,"date":"2011-11-06T18:16:44","date_gmt":"2011-11-06T08:16:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.philippinesentinel.org\/?p=1543"},"modified":"2011-11-06T18:16:44","modified_gmt":"2011-11-06T08:16:44","slug":"stephanie-rose-miss-philippines-australia-2011","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.philippinesentinel.org\/?p=1543","title":{"rendered":"Stephanie Rose: Miss Philippines Australia 2011"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>18-year old Stephanie Rose bested a field of 8 finalists at the Grand Philippine Fiesta Beauty Pageant  held at the Fairfield Showground on 2nd October 2011 and was crowned Ms Philippines Australia 2011.<\/strong><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Stunning Steph stood out in all segments of the pageant \u2013 evening gown, swimsuit, national costume and Q &#038; A.  <\/p>\n<p>She hopes to be an ambassador for charity organisations (like UNICEF) one day.  \u201cI want to utilize my title to be a voice for underprivileged children. I want to spread awareness throughout my community, raise funds and do whatever it is I can to give some of these kids a second chance at life\u201d, she said.  She also won special awards for \u201cBest in Swimsuit\u201d and \u201cMiss Friendship.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Stephanie was sponsored by the Ilocano Association of Australia Inc (IAA) in this competition.
