Entertainment columnist Ogie Diaz announced that popular actress and TV host Anne Curtis left noontime program “It’s Showtime” to pursue a career in Hollywood. <\/p>\n
Diaz said Curtis was chosen to do a \u201cfull-length\u201d role after being eyed by a Hollywood casting director. He did not reveal the source of his information. <\/p>\n
The actress said she is leaving the country to \u201cpursue her dream.\u201d She did not give further details.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s something to do with pursuing my dream. It\u2019s a new chapter in my life, something that\u2019s challenging. I just really, really want to do it,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Curtis assured her fans that she will be coming back. \u201cBabalik ako, may teleserye pa akong tatapusin, may pelikula pa akong tatapusin. (I have to return. I have to finish a film and a television series.) I really have to come back, may contrata ako so kailangan kong bumalik,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cI feel so humbled by all the blessings, and this episode in my life may be the biggest [realized dream] of all because it\u2019s one I never thought would ever come true because I\u2019m not the best actress in the world but [I\u2019m] sure it will be the best performance I can give,\u201d Anne declared enthusiastically.<\/p>\n
