The Philippine Australian Community Foundation (PACF), Inc. has launched its project: Greening Revolution \u2014 Sa Kabukiran.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The project is in a 2.2 hectare premises of the Philippine Australian Cultural Centre (PACC) in Schofields.<\/p>\n<p>The committee invites everyone to come and join in the launching and take part in the project. \u201cPlease note this is work in progress. We count on everyone\u2019s support. We welcome all suggestions,\u201d Mrs. De Vera added.<\/p>\n<p>As of press time, 50 tons of premium garden soil is needed to start with, 10 tons of which has already been pledged.<\/p>\n<p>The outcome of this greening revolution is not envisioned \u201cto supply a commercial quantity of produce for consumers but the exercise of our will through the \u2018bayanihan\u2019 principle that \u2018together \u2014 we can\u2019 do anything for our sake.\u201d Mrs. de Vera continued.<\/p>\n<p>The project was launched on August 25, 2012.
