She is now confined in an Australian Correctional Facility. It was reported that the Diaz family had to pay the <st1:state w:st=\"on\">New  South Wales<\/st1:state> government more than $10,000 to make the transfer from the <st1:place w:st=\"on\">Hong Kong<\/st1:place> jail. <o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 3pt; font-family: 'Arial Narrow'\"><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 9pt; font-family: 'Arial Narrow'\">Rachel Diaz is no hardened criminal. She had no record of any previous conviction. She was lured to go to <st1:place w:st=\"on\">Hong  Kong<\/st1:place> and given free airfare without knowing that she was dealing with a drug syndicate. It was in <st1:place w:st=\"on\">Hong Kong<\/st1:place> when she learned that she was to be used as a drug mule. <o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 3pt; font-family: 'Arial Narrow'\"><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 9pt; font-family: 'Arial Narrow'\">Hong Kong Police barged into her cheap hotel room while she was being forced to swallow condoms containing prohibited drugs. She was arrested and meted a jail term of 10 years. <o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 3pt; font-family: 'Arial Narrow'\"><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 9pt; font-family: 'Arial Narrow'\">At the time of her transfer to <st1:city w:st=\"on\">Sydney<\/st1:city>, she has completed 3 years of her prison term in <st1:place w:st=\"on\">Hong Kong<\/st1:place>.
