font-family: 'Arial Narrow'\"><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Arial Narrow'\">The Cabides family has been granted permanent residency in <st1:place w:st=\"on\"><st1:country-region w:st=\"on\">Australia<\/st1:country-region><\/st1:place> by the Department of Immigration, just before Labor government took over the Howard administration. <\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 3pt; font-family: 'Arial Narrow'\"><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 9pt; font-family: 'Arial Narrow'\">Prior to this recent development<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Arial Narrow'\">, there was a news blackout about Joel Cabides, as requested by his solicitor handling the compensation case against the Australian Department of Defence. <o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 3pt; He suffered irreversible injuries to his spine when he fell during a supervised game of basketball inside the campus.
