The Filipino Australian Movement for Empowerment Incorporated (FAME Inc.) will be celebrating their 1st Anniversary on 12 June 2009. The event also coincides with the 111th Anniversary of the Declaration of Philippine Independence. <\/p>\n
The Gala Dinner will be held at the Tivoli Showroom, Rooty Hill RSL, Sherbrooke Street, Rooty Hill, NSW 2766. The festivities will commence at 7:30 pm. <\/p>\n
It\u2019s been a year since the movement was launched and with arms outstretched, the group remains resolute with one vision, one purpose, determined to move in one direction \u2013 towards Filipino empowerment! Their battle cry \u2013 \u201cWe Are One!\u201d

\u201cLike our forefathers who fought for our independence, we endeavour to strive for the betterment of Filipinos, pushing them past their own self imposed limitations to achieve beyond their expectations.\u201d said Mr. Bartolome.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur journey began a year ago, but we\u2019ve got a long way to go and much to be done.\u201d he adds.<\/p>\n
The invitation to join the festivities is extended to all Filipino Australians. Together, we are one!<\/p>\n
