The owners of a travel agency based in Blacktown NSW recently announced to Filipino media that they were retiring. It was discovered later that another reason for the closure of their office is its termination by the Travel Compensation Fund (TCF). <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n TCF listed <\/span>Allied-Summa Travel & Tours Pty Ltd (<\/span><\/strong>trading as Travel Access) <\/strong>as among those<\/span> travel agencies that were terminated for the period 09\/03\/2014 to 08\/05\/2014. <\/span>It must be noted that there may be instances where a sale or withdrawal or change of legal entity see the business continue at the same location with either the same or a different <\/span>trading name. The Travel Access office is along Flushcombe Road in the Blacktown Commercial Business District. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n TravelManagers<\/span><\/strong> has once again referred to \u201cflaws\u201d with the Australian Federation of Travel Agents\u2019 Travel Accreditation Scheme (ATAS) as another agency faced non-voluntary termination from the Travel Compensation Fund.
