He or she\u00a0 is known for\u00a0 his\/her\u00a0 penchant for <em>Siling labuyo<\/em>. She is magayon and sensitive like the volcano, Beautiful but shy and unpredictable sometimes. She sends out fury when provoked.<\/p>\n<p>PAGTIRIPON, the Bicol Community Leagues Inc had a lavish, gathering last 31<sup>st<\/sup> of May 2014 with the theme\u00a0 Unity in Adversity Onward?\u00a0 Methinks the phrase UNITY AMIDST ADVERSITY is more appropriate.\u00a0The occasion was \u00a0to induct the new set of officers with <strong>Penny Perfecto<\/strong> and <strong>Demi Robinson<\/strong> of Camarines Sur as chairpersons.\u00a0 It was held \u00a0in Lily\u2019s Function Centre, Seven Hills NSW \u2014 a place otherwise known as venue for weddings.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to the organizers of the event which showcased products of Bicolandia and vocal renditions for entertainment.<\/p>\n<p>Consul General <strong>Anne Jalando-on Louis<\/strong> was guest speaker. She started with a welcome speech the focus of which were the achievements of Chairpersons during the past 4 years. Sadly, the achievements and projects of the outgoing Albay Chairpersons of 2012 and 2013 were missed out in the speech.<\/p>\n<p>In fairness, this article is meant to let the community know that the previous chairpersons in 2012-2013 with Ross Iglesia as Chairperson and this writer as Vice Chairperson delivered a fundraising event for the ADOPT A SCHOOL project which was very successful for having netted close to $6,000. The event not only<\/p>\n<p>attracted over 400 guests but was also the<\/p>\n<table style=\"height: 21px;\" border=\"0\" cellspacing=\"0\" cellpadding=\"0\" width=\"1\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"388\" height=\"0\"><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><\/td>\n<td><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>biggest in the history of Bicol Inc.<\/p>\n<p>Four sets of Computers were then donated to Baligang Public School in Camalig Albay during this writer&#8217;s term as Chairperson.
