The lawyer of actress Katrina Halili<\/strong> has asked the Department of Justice to investigate reports that Lee and his group have a hand in the circulation of a sex video involving his client and Hayden Kho<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Justice secretary Leila de Lima revealed the DOJ is now looking into the request of lawyer Raymund Palad on behalf of his client Halili.\u00a0De Lima said she has already directed the National Bureau of Investigation to probe Lee\u2019s possible involvement in the Hayden Kho sex scandal.<\/p>\n

Palad said there is a big possibility that Lee and his group had a hand in the circulation of the sex video since Kho himself made mention about that.\u00a0He said Halili earlier filed a libel suit and another criminal case against Kho and his mother Irene in connection with the taking and circulation of the sex video.<\/p>\n

In answer to the complaints of Halili, Kho\u2019s mother in her judicial affidavit alleged that before the sex video circulated, Lee and his<\/p>\n

group extorted P4 million from her son so that that his sex video will not come out.<\/p>\n

To prove her claim, Kho\u2019s mother even submitted an audio recording of a meeting between Hayden, her and a group affiliated with Lee in court.\u00a0The sex video controversy earlier caused Kho to lose his doctors license.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

Kho admitted taking the sex video but denied it was he who posted it online.\u00a0NBI Cybercrime Division chief Ronald Aguto said his group will immediately look into the allegation by looking into the audio recording submitted by Kho\u2019s mother in court.<\/p>\n

Tax Evasion case against Lee<\/p>\n

Lee is currently detained after he got indicted for allegedly mauling and extorting money from showtime host Vhong Navarro.\u00a0Aside from the Navarro case, Lee is also facing a tax evasion case filed by the Bureau of Internal Revenue.<\/p>\n

The BIR filed the case against Lee as president of Izumo Contractors Incorporated at the Department of Justice.\u00a0The BIR said Izumo failed to pay the right taxes to the government from 2006 to 2009, based on certifications from the company\u2019s clients. BIR commissioner Kim Henares said Lee failed to pay the right taxes to the government when he misdeclared that Izumo earned only P76.22 million from government contracts from 2006-2009.<\/p>\n

But Lee said the supposed tax liability of Izumo should not be blamed on him, but on his chief accountant Susan Nace who allegedly failed to verify the actual earnings of his company.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
