Twenty-nine year old Richie Garbino, a patient of Operation Damayan, <strong>The Philippine STAR<\/strong>\u2019s socio-humanitarian arm, visited <strong>The STAR<\/strong> office to express his gratitude for his successful kidney transplant operation at the National Kidney and Transplant Institute.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"> <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Richie, a security guard, would like to thank Mr. Manoling Morato, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office and other anonymous donors for helping foot the bill for his operation.<\/p>\n<p>However, as a kidney transplant patient, Richie still needs maintenance medicine worth P50,000 a month for one year, so that his body will not reject the newly-transplanted kidney.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Richie is appealing to kind-hearted people to help him with his medicine in order for him to fully recover and be able to go back to work.<\/p>\n<p>Richie may be reached through cell number 0928-755-6657.
