Former porno film star Maria Ozawa, <\/strong>upon learning that leading man Robin Padilla has backed out of horror film ‘Nilalang<\/em>‘<\/strong> <\/strong>expressed <\/strong>disappointment in her Instagram account by calling him “unprofessional”.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The horror movie project was to be \u00a0an entry to the 2015 Metro Manila Film Festival.<\/p>\n

The Filipino actor pulled out of the project just ten days before the scheduled shooting<\/p>\n

of the film.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt’s not that I really wanted to film with Robin but I think it was so unprofessional of him to call it off 10 days before the shooting starts\u2026, \u201d Ozawa said.<\/p>\n

She said that she “feels sorry for the film director and its staff.” Padilla’s withdrawal is reportedly because of the delicate condition of his wife Mariel Rodriguez <\/strong>who is expected to deliver triplets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

Unconfirmed reports indicate that the real reason for Padilla’s backing out of the project is Ozawa’s previous profession as an adult film star in Japan.<\/p>\n

As of press time, Padilla’s wife suffered another miscarriage. The triplets were lost. So far, there is no indication that this new development will make Padilla to retract his decision to withdraw from the movie Nilalang<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Padilla’s manager makes official statement<\/strong><\/p>\n

In a statement sent to Philstar.com, Robin\u2019s manager Betchay Vidanes said the 45-year-old actor has decided to withdraw from the film \u201cdue to extenuating personal circumstances.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHis withdrawal is due to the fact of needing to attend to his wife Mariel, as she is experiencing a delicate pregnancy. Mariel is currently pregnant with triplets, and also suffered a miscarriage in March of this year,\u201d the statement said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe decision to withdraw from the film has been very difficult for Mr. Padilla and VCM team. This cancellation has been a collective resolution of Vidanes Celebrity Marketing and Mr. Padilla and Haunted Tower Productions are not at fault in any way. We acknowledge that we hold no claims or rights to this movie whether it is produced or not. We would like to ask the producers and the public for their understanding and kind consideration.\u201d<\/p>\n
