Ford"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nick Meissner was a popular Filipino community leader who was not even a Filipino \u2014 he was Hungarian.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Yet he spoke Filipino, religiously watched the afterhours Pinoy teleserye. He played Philippine music on his old harmonica.<\/p>\n<p>Nick, who was 77 years old, served actively in many community organisations including APCO Inc, where he was a founding director \u00a0of the Kapit-bahayan Coop Ltd.\u00a0 He was a tenant-member and the maintenance officer of the Merrylands cooperative housing cluster.<\/p>\n<p>Nick passed away on 10 September.
