{"id":6330,"date":"2020-04-20T17:28:45","date_gmt":"2020-04-20T07:28:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.philippinesentinel.org\/?p=6330"},"modified":"2020-04-20T17:28:46","modified_gmt":"2020-04-20T07:28:46","slug":"fiesta-kultura-theme-launched","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.philippinesentinel.org\/?p=6330","title":{"rendered":"Fiesta Kultura theme launched"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\"><strong>As seen on the April 2020 issue of the Philippine Tribune<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>March 7, 2020 \u2501 <\/strong>The Philippine Australian Sports &amp; Culture launched their theme for this year&#8217;s fiesta, &#8220;Unity in Community.&#8221;<br>In her Facebook account, advertising specialist and long-time journalist Benjie de Ubago posted: \u201cUnder the leadership of PASC president, Marivic Ayap Flores, there were notable differences from previous years: Activities were well organised; the launch was conciliatory; officers and directors made special effort to welcome guests and members of the community including the youth!\u201d<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.philippinesentinel.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/0420_ArtImg_Fiesta01.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6340\" width=\"575\" height=\"381\"\/><figcaption>Manny Castillo, Rey Nery, Benjie de Ubago and Marivic Flores<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><br>\u201cDuring the launch, everyone was allowed to speak! It was good to see some new faces. Above all, there were no &#8220;eye specialists,&#8221; de Ubago added.
