Former Philippine Consul General.Ariel Abadilla is now in the United States on medical leave as he has just undergone shoulder surgery in New Jersey. He is currently an Ambassador assigned in Dublin, Ireland but will remain in the United States until the end of December to fully recuperate. By early next year, he will return to Ireland to wind up his assignment as he will be retiring from the Department of Foreign Affairs after 44 years of dedicated service to God and country.
