Young woman seeks help to spread the Gospel

Only 20 years old, Kim Iligan is very passionate about spreading the Good News to young people. A graduate of St. Andrews College in Marayong, she has been heavily involved with various youth groups who attended the 2008 World Youth Day (WYD) in Sydney.

Deeply touched by the WYD experience, she went on to attend the Youth Leaders Formation Course at the Benedict XVI Retreat Centre in Grose Vale.

Kim said: “I took this God-given passion to a new level and was chosen to serve with 46 other like-minded people with the volunteer-based organization National Evangelisation Team.” Kim further explains: “NET is a ministry directed to young adults with a vision to encourage young people to love Christ and embrace the Church.”

Financial support is needed

As a NET volunteer, Kim needs to raise $13,000 to cover her activities with the evangelisation team. She knows that the sum is a big challenge but says “the money will not stop me,” (from accomplishing her mission of bringing young people to Christ.)

As of this writing, Miss Iligan is attending a 5-week training course in Brisbane, after which she can be assigned anywhere, according to her mother. Donation of any amount is welcome. It can be sent to PO Box 889, Paddington, QLD 4064.
