Comatose patient revived; flown back to the Philippines

Victor Borres who was earlier reported in a coma was finally revived and was taken back to the Philippines on 25 November 2008 by his wife. They were accompanied by his brother, Juanito Borres of Dean Park, NSW.

Mr. Borres, who retired as a jail warden of Zamboanga City, came to Australia on July this year with his family to attend World Youth Day celebrations. However, he suffered a stroke that led to several weeks of coma and confinement at the Intensive Care Unit of Westmead Hospital.
