Hawaiian Attire for the Leyte-Samar X-mas Party

Gilda Ponferrada announced that the Leyte-Samar Christmas Party will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Hall, 7 Grantham Road, Seven Hills NSW. Ms Ponferrada said that a big crowd is expected this year considering that there are not too many occasions when Filipinos from the two regions meet. The party will start at 5:30 p.m. till midnight. Music will be provided by the Fragile Band.

Guests are expected to wear Hawaiian costumes/attire, bring a plate to share and also their own drinks.

A registration fee of $10 per person will be collected at the gate but children 12 years and under will be allowed free entrance.

A prize will be awarded for the best Hawaiian costume and anyone who dares wear a skimpy grass skirt will be a sure winner.

There will be lots of door prizes to be raffled off. According to the event organisers, the program includes “Curacha.”
