PAIVA Volunteers go cherry picking

PAIVA is a charity organisation composed of volunteers dedicated to help underprivileged children in the Philippines through scholarship grants. They have a non-government organisation (NGO) partner in the Philippines called CAARO which was founded by Terry Corral, who coordinates and facilitates various charity work activities.

On board two coaches, the PAIVA group went on a trip to Young, NSW which is close to Orange NSW to pick cherries, strawberries and peaches.

This volunteer organisation is planning to do another fun trip to other places like Port Stephens, Snowy Mountains and the Floriade in Canberra. The intention is not just to have fun but to promote volunteerism to help the less fortunate people in the Philippines.

Those interested to join PAIVA may contact Ghing Villarosa through her mobile 0418-459-934.
