Bobby Harrison in Australia’s got Talent

We have another young and talented Filipino Australian who is aspiring for Stardom! He is Bernard Robert Harrison, better known as Bobby and he is competing in Australia’s Got Talent, a reality T.V. show that Channel 7 will start airing next month.

Only 8 years old, Bobby knows how to play 8 musical Instruments: Piano, Saxophone, Euphonium , Trumpet, Violin, Guitar, Banduria (a Filipino 14 strings guitar) and Drums. His favourite instrument is the trumpet. He studies music at the Jun Javier Music School and is a member of the Blacktown City Community Band (BCCB).

Bobby was invited to audition at the Randwick Racecourse for Australia’s Got Talent. After that, he received an email informing the family that he is to compete in the 2nd heat in Melbourne. Every one in the family got so excited thinking of all the things they had to do. Even the kids from the Band (BCCB) were very supportive and started preparing posters for the event.

In Melbourne, the entire crew of Channel 7 treated Bobby like he was a Big Star. They applied make-up on him and gave him a guided tour of the studio. They even pressed his clothes. Everyone was so caring, friendly and thoughtful.

There were so many cameras inside the studio, so many interviews. The funny thing was, Bobby thought that the cameras were fake, because they were so huge and so many. Bobby knew that this is the life he wants to pursue.

Bobby’s parents would like to appeal to all Filipino-Australians and viewers to support their son in his quest to be the next Star of Australia’s Got Talent. He is an exceptional young man who has dreams and aspirations. We believe all of you out there can contribute in fulfilling his hope and desire to become a professional Musician and Star. He has made his parents proud and we have no doubt that he will make all Filipinos in Australia very proud for having Bobby Harrison a star performer. Watch him in February as he lights up the T.V. Screens to warm and touch the hearts of television viewers. He wants to be like James Morrison. So, let’s all vote for Bobby Harrison in Australia’s got talent!
