Mr. Jaime Pimentel, a respected senior journalist said: “If you must know, even after torrential rains and overflow at Warragamba Dam that spilled onto Richmond Bridge close by, there was not even a small puddle at the ‘Campo Bonifacio’ compound. Not even the creek nearby had overflowed.” He was referring to the site of MPC at 80 Grange Avenue in Schofields.
Meanwhile, a media room, fondly called ‘Carlos Romulo Room’ by Mr. Pimentel has been recently established at the MPC Schofields. We can only hope that his statement will “hold water” in the days to come when more rains are expected. No pun intended.
One client of this newspaper makes frequent trips along the same street in Schofields and has reported flood waters affecting the area.
