Fairy godmother sprinkles love on impoverished children

“In Australia, $15 does not mean much. It can buy a nice takeaway meal for one person but  in Thailand, Cambodia  or  the Philippines, the amount can stretch a long way,” wrote Regina Benisano during one of her sorties doing charity work.

Last month, Regina, together with a handful of volunteers, each contributing $15, delivered a hearty meal to at least a 100 people in each of the villages that they visited. It was part of the Fairy Godmother Project that Ms. Benisano had initiated.

“We’d made it a point for every child to eat to their heart’s content, and while some kids were full on just their first bowl of soup, it was a treat to see others keep returning for more!” — wrote Fairy Godmother Regina.
