Australian man shot dead in the Philippines

Olongapo City. April 7, 2013. The Australian manager of Blue Rock Beach Resort was shot dead while talking with another Australian.

Paul Dean Davy was shot in the back of his head inside the resort restaurant. According to a report by Associated Press, Mr. Davy was still alive when he was brought to a hospital but later died from the gunshot wound. It is believed that the man who killed him was one of the resort employees whom he sacked.

Davy is originally from Brisbane, QLD.

Based on declarations from customers  and eyewitnesses, police described the shooter as a Filipino man aged 30-35 wearing a blue cap and clear prescription glasses.  (AAP) ###
