Decapitated, eyes gorged out, ears and tongue cut off and body parts chopped
This morning, I got a text message from a local source in Samar. The bodyguard of the mayor of Laoang, Northern Samar was stabbed by 2 men from the opposite camp. Laoang is the island town east of Catarman which is the provincial capital of Samar.
In spite of his wounds, he was able to shoot dead the two assailants who were brothers. However, a third brother came around and finished him off.
What is terrible is that he was chopped up into pieces, eyes gorged out, ears and tongue cut-off and his head was tossed around. This happened right at the town plaza. These things are happening and show how the life of the common tao has gone down to a very low level. There will be vendettas all around. The rich can protect themselves but their slaves can kill each other until a truce can be forged.
It’s really sad that these things are still happening at this time in our home country.
