Philippine Tamaraws back in action by Erick Elefante

The Philippine National Rugby League (PNRL) invites the Filipino community to cheer for the Philippines at the International Rugby League Test Match at Wentworth League Club, Sydney on Saturday, 4 October 2014.

The Philippine Tamaraws will be seen in full form in a sweat-busting, action-packed afternoon and will be tackling Niue at 2:00pm and then the Junior Tamaraws (U23) will be  taking   on   Thailand   at

4:30pm.

Gates open from 1pm. The afternoon of fun, kicks off at 1pm with cultural presentations from the countries participating, food stalls, jumping castles and face painting for children. An OZ Tag competition will also be held for children aged 8-14 years old (boys and girls) prior to the two main international games.

The OZ Tag competition is a way of getting children interested in the game of Rugby League, and Filipino-Australian parents interested in having their sons and daughters participate in the game may contact us, but hurry as spots are limited.

The PNRL are providing stalls for food, entertainment and promotions are being provided FREE of charge for interested parties but note that spots are limited. Expressions of interest may be made by phoning or emailing the PNRL contacts listed below.
