Pacquiao & Mayweather meet for one hour

It appears that the fight between the two boxing giants will finally happen on May 2. They met in Manny Pacquiao’s hotel suite after attending a basketball match.

According to reports, two of Mayweather’s grievances were aired in the discussions, with Pacquiao’s team agreeing that they can “make them happen.”

The mega-bout has never been closer. The expected date is May 2 at the MGM Grand Las Vegas, with Pacquiao’s back-up plan to fight on May 30, with Amir Khan the leading contender.

“It was very pleasant and very encouraging, and we give Floyd credit for coming over,” Pacquiao’s adviser Michael Koncz, who was present at the meeting, told ESPN.com.

“That’s the very first time they ever sat eye to eye. Floyd and Manny had never had a chance to meet. This was a longer, more serious meeting.  Their body language indicated that their meeting was very positive. It was for a good hour or more.
