The Ateneo Sea Eagles won the 2015 Philippine Universities Alumni Basketball championship. Adamson Falcons were runners-up. La Salle Archers placed third, and University of the Philippines Maroons last.
Jose Rizal University Bombers won the Philippine Colleges (NCAA) Alumni Basketball championship. Angeles Universities Selection was runner-up, followed by Mapua Cardinals in third place, and Tech Pilipinas last.
The Sea Eagles and the Bombers played a grand final for the overall championship of the inaugural Philippine Colleges and Universities Alumni
Basketball competition. The Bombers beat the Sea Eagles decisively to win the overall championship and take ‘first listing’ on the ‘Collegiate Basketball Shield’ which will be awarded six times over six years and be on public display possibly at the Philippine Consulate General offices in Sydney.
The combined basketball tournament was held over three Sundays at the PCYC Marrickville basketball stadium.
