Mr. Remigio Biala and Ms Kate Andres have been offered directorship in the Philippine Australian Community Foundation Inc which is the governing body of the Filipino Multi-Purpose Centre. This was announced by PACF chairman Mansueto Villon during a board meeting held on August 8 at the recently-sold site in Schofields.
Although present during the meeting, Kate Andres did not make a comment neither did she confirm her acceptance of the offer. Andres is a past president of the Philippine Community Council and has been a long-time corporate lawyer of a retail giant operating in Australia.
Reming Biala is a Certified Practising Accountant operating in Marayong. In the past, Biala has sponsored concerts in support of the MPC. He could not be contacted for comments at this time, being a tax preparation period.
