Why your baggage looks so damaged after a plane trip by Rio Matro

Baggage handler is caught on camera carelessly tossing luggage into the air down a metal chute at Honolulu Airport.

A video has captured the actions of a baggage handler throwing suitcases and luggage from a plane at Honolulu Airport onto a chute to pass them down, in a very careless manner.

In the video, filmed at Honolulu Airport, the woman is seen grabbing bags and hurling them down the chute from the plane. They bounce down at speed, thanks to being thrown onto it carelessly. It happens many times at many airports with several bags appearing to be damaged. It could be that contents are also damaged, especially breakable items, regardless of those visibly marked “FRAGILE.” The man taking the film was shocked to see the way they were being handled after boarding a different plane at the airport.

At the Manila International Airport, a “No pocket Policy” is now being implemented for all baggage handlers but somehow, there are still many complaints about missing items. That is the reason why the author of this article prefers to take along only “carry on” baggage for short trips.
