Suspect in killing of Dumaguete City radioman surrenders

Cpl. Roger Rubio, the alleged gunman in the ambush of radio broadcaster Dindo Generoso in Dumaguete City, gave himself up to Police Lt. Col. Judymar de Leon.

“Caving in to mounting pressure due to intensified manhunt,” Roger Rubio who is an active personnel of the Negros Oriental provincial mobile force company, gave himself up.

The report was made by Presidential Task Force on Media Security Executive Director Undersecretary Joel Sy Egco. He said patrolman Roger Rubio from the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company turned himself in.

The suspect has yet to reveal who is the mastermind in what is believed to be premeditated murder. Ω
