Philippine National Red Cross Awards a cheque of PHP 300,000 to the Wife of the Late Newsman Alejandro Reblando..
Philippine Red Cross Chairman Richard J. Gordon and Secretary General Gwendolyn T. Pang hand over a cheque in the amount of PHP 300,000.00 to Mrs. Myrna Reblando—widow of the deceased Manila Bulletin reporter Alejandro Reblando—on June 29, 2010 at PRC National Headquarters Board Room.
Alejandro Reblando is one of the 57 people brutally slain last November in Ampatuan, Maguindanao. He was among the 1,200 members of National Press Club (NPC), which Chairman Gordon himself sponsored to avail of the Philippine Red Cross’ Premiere Platinum Membership with Accident Assistance Benefits last January 12, 2009, through a memorandum of agreement with then NPC President Benny Antiporda. – ?
