The University of San Carlos (USC) will confer on Max Encomienda, Fe Limjap and Julie Nunez the much-coveted ‘Semper Fidelis Award’ during the USC Grand Alumni Homecoming on Saturday, August 20 at the Grand Convention Center of Cebu.
The award is given to alumni who have excelled in the furtherance of the university’s educational development and those who have helped provide educational opportunities for poor but deserving students.
According to Scholarships Director Fr. Patricio de los Angeles, SVD, the renewed USC Alumni Association is trying to break from the traditional ways of award giving—emphasizing its deeper significance and relevance to people development.
