Atty. Teodoro Aritao, popularly known as Ted or Teddy to his friends, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2011 at the age of 81.
He was a former City Councillor in Bacolod City, Philippines and one of the founders of Negrosanon Association in Sydney. A distinguished WWII veteran, Ted was a co-founder of the Australian Philippines Service League (APSL) in Blacktown and an active community leader for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Dianit Aritao. Atty. Aritao was laid to his final resting place at Rookwood Cemetery NSW on August 5, 2011.
