Due for international release, The Dead Moon Circus movie will be premiered in Sydney toward the end of April and shown up to early May 2012.
Playing the starring role of Serena who later transforms into Sailor Moon is our very own Aprille Lim, a young and pretty lawyer who holds a number of beauty titles. The Sailor Moon franchise has a phenomenal following worldwide and the entry of Ms. Lim will put Australian Filipinos in the limelight.
Under the direction of James Peniata, the cast worked very hard and it took all of six months to finish the film.
The young talented actress says: “I am very proud to have participated in the film and represent myself as a Filipino-Australian Actor.”
The film is based on the very popular Japanese Animation — Sailor Moon which used to be shown on Australian television and internationally.
