Song and dance man Brian Lorenz who is regarded as one of Australia’s bright new talents in the entertainment world is the 2015 Johnny O’keefe awardee. He is also the 2015 Australian Global Pinoy Idol winner and will soon be flying to Manila as Australia’s official representative in the International Global Pinoy Finals.
He has shared the stage with stars like Dame Edna and Israel X-Factor winner Rose Fostanes and Australian X-Fator winners Dami Im and Marliza Punzalan.
Blacktown Showgirl represents Blacktown at Royal Easter Show
Reigning Blacktown Showgirl Dana Velasco has recently won the Zone 2 Final and now represents Blacktown City, Blacktown Show Society and the Philippine Community at the Royal Easter Show.
Dana, a paralegal with a Bachelor of Laws degree from the UTS, pipped eleven other contenders in the Sydney Royal Showgirl Zone final at Camden on February 6, 2016. She is also passionate about helping and inspiring other young women to achieve their potential in agriculture and life in general.
