18-year old Stephanie Rose bested a field of 8 finalists at the Grand Philippine Fiesta Beauty Pageant held at the Fairfield Showground on 2nd October 2011 and was crowned Ms Philippines Australia 2011.
Stunning Steph stood out in all segments of the pageant – evening gown, swimsuit, national costume and Q & A.
She hopes to be an ambassador for charity organisations (like UNICEF) one day. “I want to utilize my title to be a voice for underprivileged children. I want to spread awareness throughout my community, raise funds and do whatever it is I can to give some of these kids a second chance at life”, she said. She also won special awards for “Best in Swimsuit” and “Miss Friendship.”
Stephanie was sponsored by the Ilocano Association of Australia Inc (IAA) in this competition. Her proud parents Timothy of Scottish descent and Chelsea, a Filipina-Australian, are very supportive of Stephanie’s ambitions in life and her
passion for charitable causes.
