FAME celebrates Christmas

Dec. 2, 2012. Members and directors of FAME (Filipino Australian Movement for Empowerment) welcomed the lively presence of people who represented different sectors in the community. There were guests who came from as far as Illinois, California and Manila during the event that was held at Pinoy Lounge.

The place was given a cosy Christmas ambience by Ms. Benjie de Ubago, an avid supporter of FAME. She was assisted by former FAME Director Ms. Mayumi Fernando. (Shown above are Consul Marford Angeles and Leah Encomienda.)

The buffet was simply awesome! The crispy Lechon was placed as the centrepiece. The birthday celebrants for the last three months of 2012 were indeed delighted when presented with a mango cake specially baked for them. FAME State PRO Neria Soliman who is a well-known master chef and culinary expert took charge of food arrangement.

Denis Lacsamana and Emily Rudd led the singing of Twelve Days of Christmas and other Christmas carols which were later joined by Consul Marford Angeles and PCC President Atoy Sayas.

Nobody left empty handed as Ted and Daisy Cummins brought surprise gifts for everyone.
