He was a top petroleum executive who went up the ranks to become the first Asian Vice-President of Caltex Petroleum Corporation. At the time of his retirement, he was chairman of the board of Caltex Malaysia, Caltex Thailand, Caltex Philippines and Caltex New Zealand.
She was crowned Miss Caltex Philippines in the late 60’s and was a top Philippine model in the 70’s. they did not meet during her Miss Caltex reign, but much later when she was Marketing Director for the now defunct Manila Hilton International. She served as Philippine Tourism Attaché in New York followed by a stint as Philippine Tourism Coordinator for Southeast Asia.
Raul Paredes and Aurora Patricio Paredes have long retired from those “roles”, but active as ever in other activities, including church and rotary, among many, in Dallas Texas where they have been residing for the last 27 years.
They are also very [much] involved with Reliv International, a food science company based in St. Loius Missouri, USA, which is at the forefront of nutritional epigenetics.
