Filipinas Agullana-Opilas, widow of the late Col. Vicente Zamora Opilas (ret), passed away 24 July at the Capitol Medical Center in Quezon City.
She was 92 years old.
Mrs Opilas, an esteemed elder of the Corpuz-Agullana clans of Bangui, Ilocos Norte and Tayug, Pangasinan and a frequent visitor to Australia, is survived by her children Evelyn, Renato, Lorna Manodon, Yvonne and Raoul in Sydney; Rodolfo in London, Maureen de Lara in Quezon City, and Rommel Redentor in Ifugao;
Children in-law Elizabeth Cadaoas-Opilas, Robert Manodon, Perla Orden-Opilas and Zenaida Dancel-Opilas; grandchildren John Paul, Eileen Marie, Vincent Rey, Maevon Lorraine, Michelle Victoria, Patricia Noreen, Jemima and Jemuel; and great grandchild Heléna Juliet.
She was interred at The Heritage Park in Taguig.
